and if you've never heard it...you have my sympathy..
 
"Dreams So Real"- Gary Burton
(those are vibes he's hittin' on :)



I love vibes.  I had one for a while.  I didn't learn how to play it the normal way.  Mostly, I used them like an over-sized glockenspiel or a celest.  Mostly to accent the music. 




If you haven't heard that and love vibes then I just can't imagine you hearing them any better.
The playing and song writing is simply amazing. I do believe this is one album that will forever be
in that top shelf group.

I've heard bits of Gary Burton here and there.  I've been impressed.  I just don't know why I haven't gotten into him more.  It may be just because I haven't seen his CD's around.  I'll check it out.
