When I started Orange Tree Samples five years ago, I had one goal: to create the most realistic sample libraries possible. My objective was to create sample libraries that sounded so real, they could be used in final production, and so useable, they would be inspirational to play. Today, Orange Tree Samples’ libraries are used in final productions in TV, movies, and popular music by some of the biggest names in the business.

Our libraries go beyond standard sample libraries by combining state-of-the-art sampling with innovative scripting and even physical modeling techniques to give you unprecedented realism.

Starting today, we’re having a group buy sale on ALL of our products. We aren’t holding anything back--we’ve even included recent sample libraries such as Evolution Electric Bass Rick and Evolution Rosewood Grand in the sale. In fact, you’ll be able to get up to 50% OFF on all Orange Tree Samples’ libraries in this monumental sale.

Additionally, there will be special giveaways, contests, gift certificates, and much more. You'll even have a chance to win our latest library before it's released--absolutely FREE!

We also want to invite you to participate in the conversation and regular group buy updates. Head over to the Orange Tree Samples Facebook page for giveaways and other bonuses.

Made my day. I missed out on the Rick's introductory price the first time around. Now here's a sale just in time for my birthday! If it hits the 50% mark I'll be tempted to add Evolution Acoustic too.

I just hope ST3 doesn't come out next week after I've already spent all my allowance. ;)

I've been thinking of getting some Orange in my life, and this looks like my ticket. Now, to decide which one(s) will be the most easiest/most useful will be my biggest problem......lol (especially since I don't really "need" anything in particular).

IF ST3 shows up you'll have YEARS AND YEARS to get it. Get that Ric bass, you know you want it.

Mesh, if you're already covered for guitars and basses, take a look at the flutes and the Lap Steel for something different.

Thanks Bit.....As far as Kontakt is concerned, I only have the Scarbee Jay Bass and a modern 5 string bass amped from Lyrical Distortion, so Rick might be a very good option and all of you have said it's excellent.......the other one from OT that I've been thinking about getting is the Acoustic guitar (hopefully @ 50%).

The acoustic guitar is pretty good, but I haven't gotten it yet because a) I have several other acoustic guitar libraries and b) in a pinch I can actually be bothered to get out a real acoustic guitar and play it. But if the price is right, it'd complement what I've already got.

The Rick, OTOH, will fill a hole in my current instrument collection. I have to use distortion and layering and compression to get an aggressive bass sound from my present libraries. The Rick should do better right out of the box. Plus I like to use slides on bass parts, and that's an area where Greg's scripting shines. Greg's also done a great job on the presets, letting you quickly choose a starting point based on your favorite famous Rickenbacker player.

BTW, I've got that amped bass from Lyrical Distortion too (along with all their other basses and guitars). Not a bad little library for the price, but rather lifeless compared to the OTS basses.
