Ah, I see. What SmokeyJ's talking about is a sequencer like the one in Indiginus' Acoustic Guitar Collection. That one's very handy indeed. I use the double-tracked 12-string in that library a lot, for acoustic strumming pads. For $50 it's a great value, even if not as sophisticated as EAG. (Sorry, Greg, it's bad form to advertise a competitor in your thread, but I consider AGC a complement to EAG rather than an alternative.)
I agree that strumming could be improved upon in the OTS guitars. For example, it would be nice if, when you load or save a pattern, the dialog would default to the strum patterns folder instead of making you navigate to it.
I don't have EAG yet, but I have EEG, which uses the same scheme. I have not considered its strum feature a limitation, though, but then it's an electric guitar and I use it for power chords and leads. Strumming is far more crucial for acoustic guitar.
