BTW...the interface on the plug is incredible...
 
Not that moving tape reels ads anything..and only
eats up cpu, but it does LOOK really kewl....LOL

Wasn't really impressed with the tape sim in X3, so maybe this is the one. I'm trying to find info on the delay unit because tape delay is the bomb in my book.

I've been playing with it and thought the X3 tape sim was holding up pretty good (although limited). Hahaha! That J37 has a beautiful gui though...It says Abbey road on it which makes me feel all warm and groovy inside. FWIW the IK tape echo is pretty good.

So how does the Waves Wup work? I only have One knob louder. I went ahead and got the Kramer master tape demo with the J37. I'm liking the tape sims...I wouldn't mind getting one someday.

I like the Sonar X3 tape simulator.  Obviously easy to use and adds thickness and another dimension really painlessly.
 
I have the Kramer tape sim from Waves and I have really valued that.  It was pricey when I got it but I haven't regretted it.  It can add quite a few cool aspects that are hard to describe but very pleasing to the ear.

you tried u-he satin also ? I bought it after trying it out..
