And gonna have to have a tutorial about how to change colors of various things...mostly track and console backgrounds as everything I've tried has not worked as yet.  Also Dim Pro made me upgrade...but then still wouldn't install.  No biggie as I don't use it.  Looks like as per usual I've got a lot of work to do to re-configure my VSTs and Normal template and such.  But do hope I can finally make all my tracks and console strips the colors I want them.  Tell me I'm not dreaming.
 

when i got x2 the DimPro/Rapture installs nearly made me kill someone- had to do several registry hacks to get them working...started here http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/reader.aspx/2007013238 and this helped too as Rapture was also not playing ball http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.aspx?m=2667101&mpage=4  think youj had that issue too?!

Well, I'm not sure what the deal was with DimPro.  First when I ran the installer disk it said I had to update my existing DP from Cake...which I did.  Then I ran the installer again and it basically threw up a dialog saying the same thing again.  Maybe I needed to reboot or something.  I'll try again tonight. Rapture...as far as I know now...loaded fine. Another funny thing was that I got a coupon with a serial number for Addictive Drums...which I've already got...and I got a totally different serial number for it in my email from Cake after registering.  Go figure.

DP.. does it work?..it should still be there from prior versions so no need to install..ditto rapture

Yup...even tho it never installed properly with x3, it's there and operating seemingly normally.

 I guess Cakewalk must take  a hit for selling hard copy though distributors. It sells for the same price either way. It sure makes sense to have a copy  laying around. Some companies offer a discount for using DL.
