As some of you know, I've recently revamped / rewired the entire studio so before I get down to doing some more work, I thought I'd do a full backup of system & projects.
 
External drive was dead. Nothing. Swapped USB cables/ports. Still nothing
 
Turns out, something had chewed through the power cable.

Am I the only one who  thinks that changing out the power cord is not the most important part of this equation???
 
WHAT chewed thru the power cable and where is it NOW???

I thought I heard something thrashing around in the studio
 
Nah, it was either the cat, or it got damaged during the refurb.
