Hi,

PDQ Bach - Seasonings 1/2 tsp

The live version is better.

There will never be a better one, and more memorable event with a kazoo, than this one.

The Maillard Reaction
This song is mainly similar:

Plus, it's actually live from the Temple City Moose Hall.

Hi,

About 15 years ago, I heard something that have never been able to identify, that was actually serious, and it had a kazzoo with an orchestra and it was beautifully done. I imagine that someone probably did it on a recording studio, and not live, but it was really beautiful ... and well done.

Likewise, I once heard what amounted to a "symphony" (at least 20 minutes long) for a harmonica, with an orchestra in the background, and I have never found out who it was, and it wasn't Toots or Norton! I had the thought/idea that it was from ECM, because of its odd nature and mix, but I have never found it, or located it.

Stuff like that is really far out. Just sad that we do not know how to use anythig to create new music and keep thinking that a different note on the same instrument means something else instead!

We need a couple of symphonies written for Ian Anderson ... he's never gonna get one!

That kind of thing.

Don't forget about the Doo Dah Parade in California which features a kazoo marching band!

Am so un-informed  I bought a Kazoo for nothing! I'll just put em' next to the banjo and bagpipes

One of the best things Anderson ever did was the 'Divinities' album in about '96. Came right after the abysmal 'Catfish Rising' record when I thought he'd lost his marbles completely. He was working as a duo with Tull's longest serving keyboard player, the brilliant Andy Giddings, who did all the orchestral arrangements. Shame Anderson saw fit to sack him via email a few years later, and draft in the deadly dull John O' Hara.
