For what it's worth. They claim SampleTank 3 coming November 1. Won't be tied into custom shop at launch. I saw it up and running. Looks cool. Has Ik effects in the mixer. Big clear gui. Didn't seem groundbreaking, but it looked nice enough. Demonstrator said the price would be 299. He didn't know the upgrade pricing.

Is that 299 ipoints?
Surely if it's actually $299,  you will get ALL other IK products thrown in (twice), plus the bosses Ferrari, his yacht and if his daughters are good looking......well I think I'd better stop there

As long as they release the free ST or an inexpensive version which allows us to use the current sets of libraries/instruments... :)

The demo guy didn't know. What was amusing was when showing t-racks, he said the secret that mastering engineers don't tell you is that they use presets in t racks. You can get full mastering for 99 dollars.

ST3 wasn't even mentioned in the demo, I asked about it and got to see it for a minute or two.

Considering how a lot of albums which potentially could have made it on my favourite lists were systematically butchered (I don't use the word master because that is NOT mastering) I am tempted to believe that.
