thanks to ik's "discount it soon after scheme" I'll do the same if they offer me an upgrade from ST2.
 
I still think their structure of how they deal with re-downloads and transfers isn't "so good"
 
I'm more likely to buy from esoundz than direct.. solely because I could re download it years later..

1 - If you saw SampleTank at IMSTA, it was the Beta version, not including the full library and such. We have been testing betas internally for a while and just started with a small team of non IK employees this month through to launch. Dates are iffy right now during beta testing, but we are planned for the end of the 4th quarter.
 
2 - I'm curious to know the demo guys name. It find it odd that he didn't know a lot, which make me think he wasn't an official IK employee or could have been an IK artist/engineer/musician. There wouldn't be any details in the demo on SampleTank 3 as it isn't out yet.
 
Provide me with a name and I'll check in this week to see if I can sneak a screenshot or something for those curious. No guarantees though...

Yes you do, we have that thread book marked. But with a release day of November first planned, even if we miss it we still have the rest of 2013 to release it by 2014. ;)

Sorry, I didn't get his name. He was in the small IK room with a guy playing a telecaster through the demo guy's cell phone. I am sure you can track down who was there. He wasn't there to show ST3. I happened to ask him about it and he showed to me for a minute or so and closed it. The main point to my observation was to show off the iOS stuff and point out that t-racks was on sale this weekend.
