The title more or less sez it.  I've got an X2 project w/ alchemy and three different performance pad sounds I wanna drop into a song sequenctully.  I recorded the notes, but not the pad movements - anybody figured this one out?

SOLVED - there is a modulation extention available in a SONAR drop down menu.  I just had to decifer the modulation x/y abbreviation.

I got the full version, and the old novation keyboard controller w/ the xy pad.  It works, but not very precisely w/ the midi learn function.  I can't land on a single pad w/ consistency and kind of flounder between before nudging into the sound I want.  The mouse and performance pad work great, but didn't record.  I've did a work around a while back, but couldn't remember how I got it corrected.
 
I was hoping someone else had run into this situation and had an easy solution so I didn't have to think about it this evening.
