I much more enjoy Jon doing his thing when he is free forming these days with Hindu musicians and such. Doing what he does for 10 seconds in a song, just seems so silly, but I guess it's ok for him to get a few extra bux. He deserves them!

I've enjoyed him too....especially with Stanley Clark.  Silly Mosh? I'm sorry that I don't understand you much of the time but I'm thinking by your comments you haven't seen or heard this work.

Not this specific one, YET, and will check it out. but I had his earlier works with Santana, and a lot of his other work.
 
I like his long, playful stuff, similar to some of the stuff you can see on the net with him ... playing around for fun.  Nice to see him get a few appreciation notices here and there. I've always thought he deserved it.
