If your a fan...Find a nice place to listen, sitback and enjoy. My daughter (17 years old) and I have just spent a hour together with this. We both think it's his best in a long time. I love the "New" tune, but "Queenie eye" is the jewel in this collection. I've got to go record something...

As long as they're making new Beatles, could they make a new George and John too?

Just got it today and I have to say, he still completely amazes. It's kind of a mix between Strawberry Fields and I am the Walrus with some Band on the run type stuff in there as well. Some very interesting soundscapes and probably one of his best in recent years. He really stretched himself on this one. Nothing as elegant as Yesterday but one of the best CDs I have purchased recently.

I couldn't understand the lyrics to Paul's version...so I linked to some "eccentric" brit singing "Queenie eye" with just acoustic guitar.  He was fairly interesting and flailed around and sang with a lot of heart.  Still have no clue what the song is about except that Paul, apparently either has to go...or wants us to go...OUT, OUT, OUT!!

Free spelling lesson included.

PS:  Also enjoyed hearing all the old familiar chord patterns except having Paul always "head them off" at the turn by inserting one you weren't expecting.  It's so hard not to dance with the one what brung ya.

I like it a lot. The more I listen the better it gets. I think it's his best since "Flowers in the dirt" which was his best since Wings probably. It doesn't sound like he phoned it in at all.

I haven't received the CD yet but it is an "autozip" at Amazon which has the
(pdf) booklet too, which is cool....I can listen and read while at work....or wherever.

DP Perfect Strangers Live DVD is shipping now too. Looking forward to that.
