When you look at the physical damage to the pyramids/sphinx- that have no moving parts and are preserved/conserved by humans, not even permitted to be photographed from certain perspectives for fear of degradation- this 10,000 year clock is pretty ambitious. Plus it will tell the time while the pyramids serve no real purpose apart from extracting tourist dollars (or are they actually guidepoints for the ETs?
