Also, is there a chance that Miroslav Phil. is 64 Bit and the others aren't?

Not a even a remote chance...

Hopefully you can copy the .dll to where the others are located and Sonar will then pick it up on a scan. If not I guess you could try running the Miroslav installer again. Shouldn't need to reinstall the libs. Make sure you have a Good backup first.

Hope you get it sorted.

Kind regards,
Rick

While this is undoubtable a lot of content for the money I am still not sure if I will jump in and would appreciate opinions on Sonic Synth and Sample Moog. I am not so intrested in how the presets sound, I am sure they are fine, the big question here is how tweakable are these sounds and are people finding it easy to adjust parameters to create new sounds and to automate parameters in Sonar. I have a fair collection of modeled synths and, some Hollow Sun products excluded, I have found most sampled synths to be very limited compaired to their modeled counterparts.

I already have Sampletank 2.5 XL and all the expansions excluding the looped ones, so the 4th freebie is irrelevant to me. I have Miroslav CE.

My main interest is the rest of the Miroslav stuff, I don't need it as I have the orchestral ground covered with other libraries including Kirk Hunter Diamond, Concert Brass and Pop and Rock Strings, but Miroslav is nice and has a low footprint.

Sampletron - Well I am a great fan of the Mellotron but again I have it well covered and if I was spending more on Tron sounds GForce Streetly Tapes would be my first priority. As a gift, i am sure I will find some use for it.

One of the main reasons I liked and got into the IK VIs (long before I worked for them) was because they weren't BIG sounding with tons of FX slathered on, compressed, EQ and such. I could take them and shape them to fit the mix, still one of my favorite things about them. Some have complained about that very thing saying they sounded dry and flat. I always pointed them to the built in FX like "Tone Control" (a few tube preamp models to give them a bigger and rounder sound, much like modern workstations) to give them that big sound.

SampleMoog is great and is the only one certified by Moog. Its not a recreation, its a real sample library going through tons of classic Moogs. Definitely worth it, especially if you like thick Moog sounds. Sonik Synth has long been my personal favorite to recommend to first timers as I loved the collection, but even the smaller not synthy sounds sounded killer. My favorite EP is still inside of Sonik Synth and the drums are still the first ones I pull out most often when I'm making a beat.

Hi Zo,

I believe you can buy the VI License anywhere. It is the registration process that gets you into the group buy. see the link below:

Hope this helps,

Yup, so you can purchase it from any of our dealers and partners as long as it is REGISTERED BEFORE the end of the Group Buy period. (September 8th)

Zo, I bought through 'esoundz' and got an extra one of the 5 that way.
Having bought Sampletron last year sometime and getting the 3 plus the one extra from 'esoundz' gives me all 5 now. [Basically I have Sampletron twice if I want it.]

I was running through some of the sounds today in SampleMoog & Miroslav Philharmonik.

If you look at the regular price of $140 each times 5 = $700.00.

For the current price of $70.00 for 4 or possible all 5, that would be just $14.00 each.

So even if you like just one of the 5 packs, [for me that'll be S-Moog for sure], it seems well worth it.

No specific group requirements needed, but you'll have to register with IK's site.

For me I just had a to wait a day or so, and next thing I knew everything was there in my 'User Area' to download, which I just finished installing today .

Hey Rick - I worked it out after all.

For some reason, the 4 .dlls installed where they should be and the Miroslav Phil. .dll went elsewhere.

So all I had to do was move it with the others like you said and that was it.

Thanks,

James

Great news James,

Glad to hear it worked out for you. I really do enjoy the sounds in Miroslav.
