The "buggy" save as function not withstanding, the FG-X is pretty useful; IMHO.

Audiodeluxe has September savings and a gift card if you buy from them.  cheaper than most places.  Plugindiscounts.com I think just lowered their prices too.

I'm not interested, iLok and I just don't need more of what I already have.  Though I have heard they are good plugins if you don't have anything already.

Hey Robert (aka MC),

I was avoiding iLok for as long as I could and then FG-X came out. It was the tool that got me go over to the dark side.

It is my go to (small m) mastering tool. I use it on somewhere north of 99% of my final productions.

Of all my plugs (and and I plug whoar for sure) this is the one I simply would feel most lost without. It's just too easy to get the final touch on almost everything. YMMV.

And as it's been said elsewhere, getting an iLok opened up the door for some other great iLok based softwares.

I have an iLok and it doesn't scare me , much, sort of LOL.

there are a few plugins that require iLok that eventually I would/will get.

on sale these plugins are probably quite nice to have.

I'm just penny pinching these days.

FG-X is $84.00 at plugindiscounts.com  just checked.  that makes it pretty damn reasonable.

the price went up to 99 $ at plugindiscounts  (??)(but in compensation, they offer a 15$ gift card). Damn, I would have preferred pay directly the $84 !
