I have just got back from a trip to Germany that included a couple of days at a Wine festival on the Rhine. What a great atmosphere, fueled by half a dozen Oom-Pah bands touring the town and making impromptu performances. The exuberance and stamina of these bands was amazing. The Sousaphone player in one of these bands often tooke to spinning around like a dervish, becoming a human Leslie cabinet.
What struck me was almost all the bands were from the Netherlands, not Germany.
