However, on my DAW it's a legit MS Win 7 Pro Upgrade and it does not have the Get Win 10 app.

You need update KB3035583. It is probably still optional.

There may be other reasons, like incompatible hardware detected, etc.

I'm not saying Microsoft was the only one. But they had a great impact in how to be a business of software. Before that time most of it was free

Business software was free before Microsoft? I don't remember any free business software before M$. Linux wasn't even around it was Unix and even that demanded a fee.

Back on topic. Finally got all my Win 7 machines to reserve my copy of Win 10. Yay.

Sorry for being Nagy yesterday. Was too tired to write online. But nice you all have interest in Windows 10. For me the only downside yet in build 10130 is the mail app. It is still buggy. But if you use outlook that wont be a problem.
Now WDM gave me 5,6 msec latency for recording and playback. I didn't try with more than one card tho. I have also a petition in the Insider Hub that they overhaul the WDM code. Feel free to like it there.
