I've been fairly happy with X2, but let's be honest. It needs X2b. I still think the (worthless in my opinion) touch aspect of X2 has caused problems with the graphics. The Pro-channel (which is great) has some well documented bugs that I would love to see fixed.

I'm currently using Cubase these days because of the 'X' issues.
I'll try an X3 demo first & wait for the first several patches or months before deciding if I'll need it anymore.
I used to purchase new versions as soon as they were released but not anymore.
Couldn't agree more guys...
8 months without repairing "Known" issues is ludicrous...I don't care if your working on a new version...
That's like saying...too bad...just keep using it with the issues, we don't want to spend the time on a fix
because we're working on a new version...so just tough it out ...
that's NOT customer friendly service.
they've really only had one quick fix and one patch...in a year....
Furthermore, they insist on leaving us like mushrooms...in the DARK and feeding us S**t....
Up until now, they've always (for the most part) kept the users informed and, because of
that, excited about working with the program. Now, believe me, the THRILL IS GONE!
I've been using my other DAW's more and more, because of the issues with X2a....and I agree
with Clint, "Touch" should be an optional install. I bet a LOT of issues would be resolved with
THAT fix alone...I've stated it over and over again...
Here's to hoping they get it right with X3, because, if not...I think they're in trouble...as much as it
breaks my heart...
