On the days that I don't have time to make home made coffee, I usually stop by Starbucks. This AM, it wasn't any different except for the fact that, I happened to lock my keys in the car (which also had my ID badge that allows me to enter the work bldg.).

Luckily, a co-worker found some charity in her heart (Bless her heart) to let me in. It's only about a 5 min walk to Starbucks, and I managed to get a locksmith to come over to open it. Of course, it just happened that I drove my brother-in-laws car today (which I rarely do), my auto insurance didn't cover the locksmith fees, and I had to fork out $41.95 due to my own fault.

Sometime you are the dog, and sometimes you are the hydrant.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  On the positive side, you still got coffee, right?

Oh, and congratulations on still being alive and not a duck.  I suppose you could be a live duck, but based upon my extensive research of various Looney Tunes cartoons, that doesn't usually work out very well for the duck.

You should explain to your brother-in-law that he should be glad you're alive and that you didn't fill his car with ducks yet.  You should also get more coffee.  It seems like that sort of day.

Sometimes you are the bird and sometimes you are the windshield. Usually if I'm the windshield the bird is freakin' enormous.

Oh yes, I did get my coffee.....there's no debate or negotiations on that. It was when I got back to the car when the I realisation came to me why the chicken had to cross the road. So, when my brother in law gets back home from his deployment, I'm filling the car with chickens.......as a "You're Welcome".........home gift.

This is why going to work is bad for you.  Unless, of course you work in a hen house.  If so, the bad thing is the fact that you work in a hen house.

I used to fight off a rooster that would attack me every morning when I went in to collect eggs.  I don't even like eggs.  He'd lunge at me and try to claw my eyes out.  I'd beat him senseless.

Office politics haven't really changed that much.

Thanks Tim. I'm generally a pretty laid back type of guy and never really let this "small stuff" get to me......I have bigger things that occupy my mind.......like BECAN!!!

(UB is right.........all Freds lead to Becan.)

I have gotten to where I usually have coffee for breakfast and lunch... too lazy to fix something to eat or go get something. I only have to get into the kitchen and my wife lets me in...
