Looking over my list of libraries* it seems that ST3 will most likely be redundant or at minimum unnecessary since I have not opened it up since I went 64bit.
(I wonder if I'll be proved wrong)

So end of my rant about ST3 taking a lifetime to bring to market.

You mean like if they had a free player shell thingy and, I don't know what to call it, but some sort of custom shop or something for adding libraries to it?

  Yea, I read those reasons; you already have IK samples that will play in 64bit without a bridge when it comes up? ...PLLEEASE, I wouldn't want to accidently be between you and the buy it now button when it comes up....I call shenanigans

I was going to get Sampletank during this current sale in the expectation of upgrading to ST3, but then I thought about it. It's never going to catch Kontakt. They have left it too long and Kontakt is now THE sampler. I'm too old to wait a decade for a sampler's library to mature enough to compare with the competition.
