IK PeteSampleTank 3 will be out by end of this year, 2013.  If not, I authorize Obi to give you you a serial for T-RackS CS Grand and another for AmpliTube 3 with his and IK's compliments.  That's a lot of $$ worth of software,

 
 
I believe it is going to happen for sure, and if I understand correctly when it does, it will be the only way to use any of their VSTi's natively in 64 bit without the bridge?  I have a strong feeling there will be a free version at the time or soon after its release just to keep the folks that have the others, Miroslav, Sonic synth2...., from storming the gates.
 
 I've been doing some reevaluating of the synths I have now from IK. Miroslav I think is a brilliant piece of software I have nothing like it. Sonic synth is OK for the sale price I paid but I have never used it and doubt there will be a circumstance when I wouldn't choose something else now. It's a great package for folks with limited options, but lately with all the add-ons I have, I find Dimension Pro much more useful for my needs. Listening to the demos of the other IK synths, I really don't think I'm even going for the group buy deal.  
 I don't have sample tank 2 and haven't even bothered installing the free version. Now that I'm running SSD's for my samples, storage space is once again an issue. IK sounds were as good as any others when they were first released but that was a while back and there is some serious competition out there now.
 
 For synthetic sounds I'm really impressed with both Alchemy and U-He. For natural sounds I like EWQL the best and I think that is the direction my money is going for now.
 
 I do find it a hopeful sign that IK is back in the synth race, I'm more interested in the quality and amount of new samples that are in ST3 than I am it being 64bit native. I do hope that ST3 is just the beginning of some great new synths that are being developed, that I can't resist.

If I used ST2 as much as you apparently do/have I'd be in the same place.
 
The UI turned me off so early on that although I too have a fairly extensive library of ST2 stuff (IIRC I purchased nearly every esoundz expansion pack I could get my hands on) I just never really got into ST2 as a goto tool.
 
Amplitube on the other hand has been my goto amp sim.

I'm in pretty much the same place - I don't have the full version, but I have a few very nice ST libraries that don't really get used because I despise the GUI and it's not like I'm wanting for other options.
 
 
But haven't IK always had free/cheap versions of ST that don't come with much content, but will play whatever libraries you own?

No more leaked info, and to think I have given more leaks/hints here than any other forum. After much hesitation, I finally went for the group buy primarily for the Miroslav Philharmonik Orchestra just about a week ago.
 
And yet the 'new & improved Authorization Manager' won't even let me download it or the other one I bought 6 months ago.
 
Having Garritan Personal Orchestra 4.0.2, Kontakt 4.2.4, HALion 5, Dimension Pro & Rapture 1.22 among others, I most likely just wasted $70 at IK - falling for the great price deal - especially since I can't even download & install them.
 
Years ago, when I first tried ST free, I didn't like it at all. Not only were there install problems, but the fonts were so f*in' small, it wasn't even worth looking at.
 
I'm guessing that nothing's changed. 
 
I think I'll just settle for & take yet another $70 loss, and put IK on my 'block list' from any of my future dealings.

Or you could just go to you User Area at the IK site and download them easily. If it doesn't work there, it's likely because you're blocking cookies.

JR...you have to go to your account at the IK site to download the instruments...
If you didn't get an email with your serial #, it will be there at the IK Site.
Just download and install your instruments, run the IK Auth Manager and 
input the serial #'s.  You can do them all AT THE SAME TIME.
There is a button at the bottom that says ADD ANOTHER SERIAL NUMBER.
Once they are all in, just hit the AUTHORIZE button and done...

I have all 5 now, as I already had SampleTron but had never used it because Sample Tank was too small & difficult to see. Looks like it & the others still are, but maybe ST 3 will be better some day.
 
So maybe I didn't piss away $70 after all. 

I just want to keep bumping this thread until ST3 is released.  Yeh, it could be a while. But I just want to see what happens when bapu is faced with the Hobson's choice of a) leaving a hole in his otherwise complete plugin collection and falling behind yorolpal, or b) eatin' crow.
