This one ain't free but did the $39 and a few yen to get it. Saw it on KRV.

CPU hog and crashes Reaper on one of my projects, conflicting with Allah knows what.

Missing the strings and long pads, but the organs are tweakable as well as the fake pianos.
Lends very well to layering with other organs or pianos to throw in some bite. The organs almost stand on their own with a bit of love. They got a demo with noise bursts, but if you can sacrifice a week's worth of beer money, might be worth it.

Bumping my own obscure thread.

Nitroflex is cool. 10 Yankee buks less than my upgrade to Sonar X2 firesale $49.

Honest, bought Sonar upgrade, installed it and never used it. Maybe X3. Breverb limited cake version is okay. Unless missing something, was not blown away by the distortion algorhythm in Overloud.

Another reason bumping is a passing observation that as far as plugins are concerned, it almost doesn't make any sense to buy anything anymore outside the moral tug to support the increasing devs giving away subtle and fantastic effects and synths as freeware.

Just loaded and tweaked several keyboard chains including TTS-1 (French Horns) and Cake's Session Strings (revisiting this beautiful plug). Followed by a couple other freebies and the vibe is cinematic. No need to pay thousands for commercial libraries in my simple world. Maybe missing something, but maybe not.

Best,
John

Well, "CPU hog and crashes Reaper" isn't exactly the kind of glowing review that makes people want to jump over and check it out.  My understanding is that nothing crashes Reaper, ever. It's the Mac of DAWs.

Yeah, Reaper is stable but I still manage to bring it down a couple times a day, same with Sonar. Code for vst/vsti is so lax that no DAW is bullet proof. Think I  use too many effects and synth chains so that something is always conflicting. Nitro is stable otherwise.

Dev for Nitroflex said that some good improvements coming soon. Definitely an interesting synth and am getting into refining some of the organ settings.
