Hi Nigel,

That price was for the AD Pack only. I always look for the bundles and never see them anywhere except the XLN Audio site. I don't even see the XLN midi packs for sale except at XLN.

I bought a bunch of them back when they were on half price sale but usually they are around $20. A little steep for me.

Hope that helps.

Kind regards,
Rick

Rail  -I actually stopped bothering to install third party stuff in AD a couple years ago, because i could never get them to display properly - did you reformat yours to display properly recently? If yes, FANTASTIC and a good sales point - most other libraries like Groove Monkee used to display in such a way as to be unusable. If all yours are now done like the Zildjian Artist collection shown in the video, I will download and install the AD versions - that would REALLY be great - I can just hear the Steve Ferrone pack linked to the Black Velvet Kit!!!!!If you could just confirm all your libraries are like the Zildjian one, I will stat to install ASPA - ThanksNigel

All our AD formats have always been done correctly... Sounds like you're using the GM version

I've been using Platinum libs in AD (others too) & they all appear & work fine.
I just drag them into my AD user files folder & re-scan.

I've got to look into this as mine definitely don't display properly - I just checked - so pretty sure I've got something wrong somewhere.
A bit of Sherlocking required I feel when I have a bit of time!

OK found out what was wrong - in the past I had loaded packs from another supplier, actually two other suppliers - no names to protect the innocent. It's these that were making the display such a mess. As they were not usable, just deleted all  other manufactures products and just left the Platinum ones.
All seems much better - still the odd strange display but basically each library is now together and displays much more like (probably the same) as the AD stuff.
HOWEVER the Addictive Drums browser is STILL the one of the worst for displaying midi loops coherently - a couple years ago, BDF Eco was on sale for $15 I think, so I got it. But I have never used it much as the browser is rubbish. Studio Drummer came with Komplete - again not used that much - that's sounds also, but the browser could be better.
In my opinion the best browser is without any doubt  Toontrack, followed by Slate in the packages I have - and being human, we normally reach first for the easy option.
I did write and try and explain this to the guys at XLN audio, but I really don't think they realize how a poor browser like theirs reflects badly on an otherwise excellent product.

For me The 'Favorites List' in AD is the best out of all them. The fact that I can keep adding midi files for later use or to swap out fills or grooves on the fly while syncing as the project plays makes it my favorite browser.
And the files are always there when I re-open the project.
