Ryan Munnis [Cakewalk]
The funny thing is, despite the one minute between each post flag I see in the forum dev's software, I've never personally run into this myself. You, my friend, are a rapid typer.
Hi Ryan, I work out of my house every day on IT-related things and my "breaks" consist of flipping over to the forums (not only Cakewalk's). In some a long, well thought out, reply is required but, in the Coffee House, it's a lot more like conversations and, at 80 words a minute, I can EASILY read all the "new" posts for a thread and even type this entire paragraph while still getting the "too many posts" error.
Also, because of the conversation aspect (which, really, only applies down here in the Coffee House), it's not hard to hit the "exceeded" limit as well. In fact, I'm guessing that the forum software counts the "too many posts" attempts because I've hit the limit with as few as 30 posts over a 24 hour period more than once.
