For now I reverted to no VST3 support in X3.
 
I hope X3b solves the above two issues.

Sarzo is a well known Sonar user.

The title is interesting too, there is a problem but it doesn't warrant a complaint, just a statement.

Also good that you can at least use X2...I'd be dead in the water again.
After listening to some of my recording work last night that may not be
such a bad thing. geeze....finally get back to enjoy recording/learning and the
results are like taking a butt kicking.

I will not open existing projects or start new ones in X3 for now.
 
Two serious problems that affect me.
 
1. Waves VST3 versions will not retained saved settings upon reopen of a project. Noel says he should have this in a patch by the end of the week
2. Any VST3 followed by any UAD plug causes strange behavior such as motor boating, (I believe) silent projects and crashes SONAR.
 
I hope #2 is fixed by the end of the week too.

I don't get it ... don't these goons know that people use other stuff with their programs, or are these blockheads ... just that ... blockheads?
 
If I ran a software company, and my folks did not pay attention to forums like this one and the other tools that people HAVE TO USE, because no software has the right stuff ... I think I would be looking for other programmers ...
 
And I'm not sure that you can sell a product without allowing your folks to check it!
