On another forum I am part of it was indicated that Sonar X3 also did not work with VST3 in VSL's VE Pro 5, and that Cake admitted they were not even aware of that world/program.
 
Do you happen to know if that also will be on the fix-it list?
 
For the first time in forever (well since 8.5.3 anyway) I am thinking about upgrading, but once again, one of the things that would be key for me doesn't work in ye olde Sonar.

I'm not anymore in the know than anyone else on this forum. I just happen to be actively involved in the above mentioned bugs and what I quoted about what Noel said was what he sad in one of the threads.
 
Sorry but with regard to VST3 syths I am in the dark. I only own or have installed (AFAIK) one VST3 synth. Elements from Waves and I have not even loaded it up under VST2 yet.

Would you be so kind as to make sure that those goons fix their software and make it work on 64-bit?
 
I keep thinking that 64-bit, is the professional standard, not the home user standard, which usually costs less, though in this case with W8, you get both versions!
 
If Sonar does not do 64-bit, I question its aims and professional ability.

Veinna Ensemble is a very popular and much used program.  I don't think that Cakewalk would be unawares of 
such a program.  Unless they're living under a mushroom.
