When I lived on Nantucket we'd order Indian food from a place in Hyannis and have it delivered by plane.

Hi Jan,
What I was trying to convey is that this particular pizza parlor... the only one for about 40 miles in any direction is going out of business for good.

They will not be back next season.

 :-(

 best regards,
mike

Your opening line reminds me of what I say about my Mom.  She's only 4 miles by flight, but 20 by car and I don't have wings...

(She lives directly across the Columbia River from me.)

I should always go with my first impression.  How far will you have to go for pizza then?

We go home on Saturday so we'll be back in the land of Deep South Style pizza.
:-S

I like the North East style the best but we have to go all the way to South Florida to get that.

None of them sound too appetizing.  About the most exotic that I do is BBQ chicken.
