I havn't used it in anger yet but i have just been setting up track templates.

It's very nice and all the kits keep to the overall "sound" while still sounding very different. I like the Gretch mallet kit and the Ludwig kit in particular, but the Slingerland and Gretch kits played with sticks are not far behind. The midi I auditioned souned like it could be useful.

I wish I had the dish for it. $32 @ audiodeluxe.com.

Isn't that sad that I can't even fork over $32 for it?

I picked this up very cheaply in a Sale - it is an interesting package - not quite sure what I'm going to use it for just yet, but I'm sure it will get used at sometime - I like the "old" sound of the drum kits.

Hmmm. I'm still on the fence with this one. I think it may work well with a few songs I plan to record in the near future. More vocals, less guitar with a live feel...hopefully. I like having the Vintage set, but I have yet to use it on anything. I'm hoping I will like the snare and the room sound of Indie folk better than Vintage. I'm finishing a song with my recently purchased Rock solid exp and I like it, but by far the Standard kit has seen the most use.
