Vox amp pack and full on huge Marshall amp pack please.

I keep going to my local music store and drewling over the used Vox and Marshall amps and heads.

I've never heard of Dr. Z amps in 20 years of reading mags and being around music.

What mags have you been reading?  Washing Machine Monthly?  Dr. Z amps are very well known and thought of by tone seeking guitarists of all stripes.  And they've been around for a good while now.  But they certainly are considered "boutique" and they don't run full page ads in Guitar Player or Premium Guitar and such.  So one could miss hearing about them, I guess.

Not buying an IK Product till ST 3 hits the market...they
can kiss my furry brown bahooki.....I'm probably the only
one with the nads to boycott the bozo's...I've been doing
it for 6 months now....

They can release all kinds of iCrap...and other stuff...while the ST line STILL goes unupdated
after 4 years...

I take issue with that..and am very disappointed that the "Junkies" will take any fix they can get...
sometimes you have to "stand your ground"

Thanks for changing the topic from the new AmpliTube update. SampleTank 3 is on its way and we are actually going to begin testing with different people this week. Thanks for your interest.

As for Dr Z amps: They go for 2 grand and up. Definitely tone monsters and many guitar players have been vocal about their love for the Dr Z tone. They sound great!

The YouTube demo of the Dr Z sounded good Obi; I'm hoping to demo this one when I can spend a couple of days with it.

yeah sorry guitar mags like Guitar Player etc don't or haven't really covered Dr. Z amps, they aren't in any of the stores I have been exposed to Guitar Center doesn't and hasn't had them on the floor (used maybe but I've never seen um), and Dr. Z company doesn't do artist endorsement or have a program so artists are running around saying they play Dr. Z or try and sell um unlike Marshall or Fender.

Dr. Z started in 1988 and became full on production in late 90s and early 2000s.

I'm not knocking them or even IK doing models of some of the Dr. Z amps.  I just never heard of them.  so sue me.

btw I am not totally naive I've heard of Rockman amps by Tom Scholz so there!  hahaha.

If not for a friend of mine who bought one of those 2 years ago, I'd have never heard of them either. I read Guitar magazines irregularly until around 2000 - maybe I did see the name, but it just didn't register. No chance of me seeing them in stores back home I'm quite sure. Maybe back in NY - but again it didn't register.
