I've had a subscription to Guitar Player for as long as I can remember and the Z amps get reviewed in that magazine from time to time. They usually get a GP Editors Pick award. Not cheap, that's for sure. I am fine with IK modeling boutique amps that I probably won't be able to afford. Because for $30-35, then I can. What matters most to me is tone. If they can model it with accuracy and it sounds really good, that is a win for me. Another plus is that if the amp model is accurate, I might find that I like it and seek out the real amp, possibly buy it.
When ever I demo the newest releases from IK, they just seem to be getting better and better. The Orange Collection has some fabulous modeled tones in it
Keep on perfecting modeling IK and keep on modeling for tone.
