Hello, so I've upgraded my Waves Gold bundle recently from v.9 to v.10 and now when I open CbB sessions that had some v.9 plugs from the Gold bundle in them the aforementioned Waves plugs don't update/load in the session and instead I have to go in a manually put the new v.10 version in, which of course means I lose my settings on those plugs. I ran that little Waves program that makes sure you only have v.10 plugs on your system and not v.9 and v.10 of the same exact plugin and it did do its job, but instead of CbB sessions loading the new v.10 version of the applicable plugs I just get that popup saying the plug can't be found. Any other company whose plugs I've updated always loaded up the new version in old sessions just fine w/o me having to do anything. Why is Waves not "populating" my sessions that had v.9 plugs w/ the v.10 versions?
Thank you, and I really hope that we're not required to manually replace each plug in each session every time we upgrade waves. What am I missing here?

I think you may have made a misstep in your install of version 10.. Contact waves.
They should be able to get you easily back on track...even with your old sessions with instances of waves.

I think Kings Mix is right. Contact Waves Support.

But before you do that, try to go to CbB Preferences/File/VST Settings, under 'Scan Options' click the 'Reset' button. It should start rescanning right after if you have it set for 'Automatic'. If you have it set to 'Manual' scan then click the 'Rescan' button and let it do it's thing (may take a while). See if that works before contacting Waves.

Thanks guys, resetting it fixed it just now. And I had an appointment tomorrow for them to get all up in my computer remotely and everything, glad I don't have to do that now thanks Grem. Good to know too, if anyone else has this problem with version 10 waves

Glad it worked for you. Just about every problem that I have had with Wave V9 & V10 is settled with a Reset/Rescan. And when you got a lot of plugins, that becomes a PITA really. It just takes so freaking long!! And all you want to do is get an idea down!!

We have such a hard life!! : )
