I launch GT4,
start new project,
click on "console view" in the bottom left,
GT4 crashes and gives an error message ( please see screencap below of GT4 and error message) :
Error - Unhandled Exception
A fatal error has occurred
Exception code: c0000005

What is this?
How do I get Gt4 to work again?
It worked before, but then I tried to listen to some Midi provided in the Sample Content, hasn't worked since.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, unable to upload screencap.

I'm seeing this same problem on a clean machine.

I'm running Windows XP Pro service pack 3 on a Dell Latitude D530 laptop and have installed the 4.1.1 update.

Here's what I do to see the problem:
1)  Start Guitar Tracks
2)  Create a new project named "test"
3)  Click the console view button
4)  Crash

Were you ever able to get around this?

Similar problem.
With no other software running, I launch gt4, open a project with light to no effects at all, but the minute I use the free tool to edit a clip within the track I get the message " unhandled reception"  followed by a pop up with the option to send or not send the error.
I choose to send the error. Gt4 closes automatically. I restart gt4, open the project again, click play, and get no sound. I try listening to the demo that came with the software-no sound. I close gt4. Disconnect the usb chord from the v-studio 20. I start v-studio 20, re-connect the usb, lauch gt4, re-open my project, click play - and sometimes I get the audio back, but it only works up until I begin to edit a clip within a track, then I get the error "unhandled exception" again.

I would like help with this issue as well. It's difficult to get any recording/editing work accomplished at all with this issue.

I have windows xp pro 2002 service pack 3 Dell  Intel Pentium
and over 65 gb's of free space.
