Well do ya?  There is a thread in the Sonar X1 section started by Laney (Lane Gaffney) He has recently done a very nice series of Videos on X1.  He is considering a V-Studio 700 system video. If you are interested, post in the thread.

Just finishing up the index. Thinking of starting shooting next week.  What would you like to see included?

Perhaps start at the beginning? How to set it up, etc.  I know this but it will help others just getting into the system.  Go thru the concept of the unit step by step assuming the viewer knows nothing.

Basic intro video (Intro to the  V Studio 700)
Work flow concepts... how to integrate the system into your studio
Exploring the onboard fantom

This system is a deep system.  I look forward to the introduction of X1D

I am going to wait till next week so I can have X1d on the video to start filming.
Maybe break them up into 5 min videos and just put them on youtube.

How about an in depth tutorial about how to get this thing working in 64bit  mode.  What a convoluted, twisted installation.

Yes…I’m very interested in a video on the V-Studio 700. I would buy it for sure!
Starting at the beginning would be great and then getting into the cool features like Channel Lock and Channel Branch and for sure a complete section on the Fantom! Also, a section on “how-to” get the V-Studio 700 System upgraded to the latest release. (Yeah I know guys, Cakewalk did a great job on a step-by-step guide for the upgrade but I would love to see a tutorial on that).
And as far as packaging the video…I would like to see it as a complete video rather than the 5-minute YouTube films…or perhaps both methods?
