If you happened to buy this on the AudioMidi "no-brainer" deal last year you can get the
upgrade to the 64 bit version for $10

http://audiomidi.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1fca1ebb5fd019576fbbb1d9b&id=8b22a5098e&e=19ccddc9e0

There's a coupon code you'll get in an email....

I received that email also but I can't remember buying it, even though the email said I did.  I can't find any record of the purchase and I don't see it on my system or backup drives so not sure why I received the email. I really thought AudioMidi.com didn't exist anymore so not sure what is going on but I am a suspicious person by nature.

Not really interested in the plug but if I thought I could get the full install 64bit version for $10 I would probably spring for it.

I'd be willing to bet if you put in the cart and applied the coupon you'd be out the door..

The question would be...

Do they give you a NEW serial number?  LOL

Yeah, I don't think that would happen and it wouldn't be the right thing to do anyway. I'll just let this one pass, keep my $10 and clean conscience.

I got the email as well and don't remember buying it. I did not read it very well. What does it do?

I got it and have sfx pro, so it ain't just a come on for new users.

It is a good program - it essentially is a bunch of effects you can chain together and some rather ... eclectic presets (about 1000 of 'em).  I mostly use it for sound effect design, but it works for more mundane effects, too.

for $10, it is a no-brainer for sure, even if you only use it for a few of the presets in some songs.

Anybody who passes this up for ten bucks is daft.  I recall when the original no-brainer came out for $20.  The consensus was that it was a very innovative piece of gear ... too bad it was 32-bit only.  I bought it anyway just because it was so unique and intriguing.  Very glad now I did, even if so far it's only sat on my hard drive gathering virtual dust.
For those wondering just what it is, picture a Reaktor geared to FX that can be learned in a couple of hours.

I got the email and cannot find it on my machine. I wonder how they got the info and how much info they or someone else got. Thankfully I have changed my credit card info since then... I think. I am going to keep an eye on my statement.
