O do feel the days of the 99 dollar upgrade from producer to producer are gone, never to return ..
SO it boils down to do you fee the $51 is worth the additional content AND possible super dooper audio engine .
I agree, and in all fairness George, it did used to be an annual $199 to upgrade at one time.
I would also concur that the
real value also depends on what you already have in your DAW arsenal. Of the new toys that come bundled with Producer, I only (already) own the Blues Tube plugs, so Melodyne, Addictive Drums, Lounge Lizard and even Straum Acoustic (I don't own an acoustic geetar) are very nice and welcome additions indeed.
Added to the Tape Emulator and Quad-curve EQ enhancements in the Pro-Channel, plus what looks like an intuitive and much-needed redesign of Take Lanes and a return to Colour Customisations (my two major beefs with X2), this is well worth the upgrade for me.
