Meh.

Worth what I paid...even the pita to get it.  But I have to agree with my ol pal, Jim.  Pretty pitiful drum kit.  Might prove useful in certain situations tho.  I'm gonna keep experimenting.

I think everyone is missing the "boat" on this one...

First, you have to DOUBLE click on the mic to get it to change..not just "click"
When you double click it will take you back to the Drum page with the new mic
in place and you will definitely HEAR the difference.

NO ..it's not a GREAT AWESOME 50 BILLION Dollar drum kit...
But it has some nice features, presets, and MIDI....

The entire point of this is to hear the MIC's on a "Normal, Average" Drum Kit.

The Mics sound great...the Drums sound good through the Mics...

It's FREE, and it's NICE....

That is just my opinion..and they're like you know what...

I think if you spend just a "little" time with this you'll see (hear) what I'm saying...

Will you use it all the time..NO, but you WILL learn something from it...I hope...

Then if they offered a mic modeling package that you could apply to Toontrack, BFD2, Slate, Addictive et. al. samples

that would be sumpin'.

I agree with you Larry, ol pal. That's why I said I'm going to keep experimenting. But to me the drum samples are mundane. But you are certainly right that working with the settings can yield very usable results. And I'm still in your debt for giving me the heads up on this.

No Prob...

I love keeping everyone hear informed on the stuff I find while digging through the piles
of ...hmmm.....stuff...LOL  I LOVE this stuff (I know it doesn't show) LOL

I at least think it's ok, and for FREE, it's pretty impressive....not great...but hey...you
can't get everything, even in the stuff we spend hundreds (thousands in my case - millions in Bapu's) of
dollars on...LOL

And I know you all do too...so that just makes it that much better...
