Dad is 95. He has fluid in his lungs. They thought it was pneumonia but now think it is congestive heart failure. Giving him lisix and lots of antibiotics. I slept in the recliner last night and tonight. I think he will go home on Monday, the cardiologist and ho****e are coming to see him at the hospital on Monday, then if he is stable or better I suppose he will go home. We brought mom out to see him yesterday, she sat by the bed, they held hands and she went to sleep. Their 75th wedding anniversary is next month.
So... in Moultrie, waiting for the rain. UGA on the TV, Ga Tech (and the Coffee House) on the computer...
I hope to get home on Tuesday... I am tired and way behind in my work.
Prayers requested. Thanks! If you dont pray, send mojo.
Julien
PS: if the nurse comes in here again tonight at 4:30 with a loud cheery "Good Morning"... someone is going to get hurt... then again, I can't get out of the chair.. so she is safe, lol. I'll just squeeze the pillow tighter over my head. It is hard to sleep in a chair when you're over 60.
