I haven't used it in a while but it's a good sounding & useful bass amp sim..
IIRC they're all x64 now too. I'd try a demo if they still offer it.
$47.00 doesn't sound too bad, a few of use here got their plugins a few years back on their 11/11/11 sale for $11.00 each.

I really like the GK vsts.  They dropped their prices several months ago.  The current list price on the  Audiffex site is $39 for the "standard" and $79 for the "pro".  This is the first time I have seen a sale on the GK line since the price drop.  JRRShop is selling the standard for $23 and the pro for $47.  In my opinion that is a very good price.

You can download a demo on the Audiffex site so you can figure out for yourself if you need the standard or the pro.  After playing with the demo I came to the conclusion that I did not need the pro as it just adds "dual" speakers and dual amps which I have never really liked on these type.  YMMV.  So demo it first before buying.  Again, that is a great price on what I think is a very good Bass vst, but I happen to like the tone of GK bass amps.

Just checked the JRRshop page and the GK vst is eligible for the 15% off buy and so the standard only cost $20.36 and the pro only cost $40.76 after that extra discount.

If anyone is considering doing this, now is a good time to do it.

OK, so downloaded demo - very very nice.
I normally use IK Ampeg to reamp my DI bass - occasionally Studio Devil - I thought the Audiffex sounded better and seemed to sit in the mix better than either of the others, so I purchased it.

I have used the Pro version for a couple of years. I have a Fender Modified Jazz Fretless bass that sounds like gold thru that thing. I have found Amplitube or Guitar Rig better for more Rock and Metal sims. But I use GK more than anything else and I am VERY satisfied!

I also have IK Ampeg, IK Fender (has several bass amps), as well as GR4, and have played around with the demo of MarkBass vst, but the Audiffex GK vst is still my favorite.  It has some punch that is great for progrock and when needed it can be full and mellow for blues or jazz.  I have thought for some time that it is overlooked and rarely mentioned.  For these prices it is both affordable and  a  great addition to your Bass amp vst collection.  I hope you enjoy it.

Funny, I played GK as my main amplifier years back and I never thought of it as having a tone to emulate.  It was pretty generic to me and simply made my bass loud enough to hear.  I liked it mainly because it was light in weight.
