lol ssl is now 294 (with the voucher) but as a duende owner , it makes no sens .... duende is if i recall well -50% is gives the ssl bus comp + channel strip even less , so for those that want's ssl , go duende now !! lol
 
gonna chek the only thing not inculded in mercury (beside ssl) : kings microphone  , i wonder if it's just eq's setting + distortions ...

I am pigging out on Waves today!  First got the Aural Exciter.  I need to figure that one out.  Dont like what it does to my tracks.  Second got the RS56.  JUst got the license so jumped in and ordered Element!  If that arrives soon I may dive again!

Aural Exciter is great, in moderation. How you use it depends on whether you stick it on a buss or track, and the type of material. For acoustic guitar, vocals, and strings it adds a very nice finish. I wouldn't slap it on everything though, lol.

How come none of youse guys explained that you could use the code at other Vendors besides Waves Store?
 
I see that I could-a saved an extra $20 if I did the AD thing :-)
 
I was pulling a 14 hour shift so I woke up early made my purchase at Waves Store and then watched all you guys have your fun from my mobile.

It was the idea that the *exclusive-special-code* would work every where that seems to be less common knowledge.
 
It's no big deal. :-) I got a nice day of work. It was the fact that I learned about the other choices just a few moments after I made my purchase and went to work that caught my attention. Dohhh! I missed learning about it by just a few minutes. :-) 
 
I was mainly curious to learn how you all knew about the idea of using the code someplace other than the Waves store. That never occurred to me and I never saw any info about it when I signed up for the email voucher.
 
I'm feeling lucky, I got everything I wanted; S-1, for less than I expected to, and I don't seem to have an urge to save any more money. :-)

Well...you might as well try.  Apparently it has for most folks.  Sheesh, what a crazy sale.  Maybe WAVES saw the huge response and just said, "screw it, let em keep buying".

Oh my!  That's mine too!  I think that we lemmings are doing exactly what Waves wants by double dipping and feeling that the little guy won for once.  I have a love/ hate relationship with marketing.

Not pleased with WavesUniverse.  I purchased REDD for their quoted price of $81.18, used paypal and got a receipt.  Then a few minutes later I received an email saying that they made a mistake and charged me their cost, and that the actual price to me woulld be $8.00 more for $89.18.  They gave me the option of a refund of the money which means no REDD or for me to pay the extra $8.00.  Since this would be the same price as I would have had to pay through AudioDeluxe, I just authorized the payment of the extra $8.00.   Not pleased with WavesUniverse on this one, but the final price is still a bargin.
