How about a how-to-survive-the-iLok-switch-over thread?
 
I just downloaded the latest iLok License Manager
 
What's next?
 
Should I uninstall my old "iLok Client Helper" software?
 
What do I do with the driver for the actual iLok? Does that stay the same or is it replaced?

I uninstalled my old, then re-installed the new (dated 6/7/2013) 
If everything is working for you I'd wait. The software updates automatically, the last one being yesterday/ this morning.
The new roll out is still not %100, they're still having issues.

Well, I downloaded the ILM a couple of days ago because I got the Softube Bass Amp Room because of the sale. I decided to chance it. My DAW is offline so I always use a different computer to authorize all my plugins. Recently, I had reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows and hadn't had to update my iLok since then. So I installed the ILM, and inserted my iLok and the computer did the "do you want windows to find drivers for you" thing it does. Not sure if the drivers are in the ILM package or not. I was very surprised when it actually worked.
 
The only hiccup was getting the ILM to log on to my account. It took a few tries before it found the server or connection. HTH

I can't find any instructions on their site.
 
Did you uninstall both the Client Helper and the driver or just the driver?
 
I'm setting up an offline DAW so if I need a new driver I need to find that some where.

I went to programs/features & uninstalled.
I don't remember but you might be able to install over it.

I uninstalled both before installing the new ILM....and everything went fine...did it a while ago....over a week ago...and all went well...

I have the Softube Mix Bundle and all my Antares plugs, my Lil Radiator and Lil Microshift, and my Pro Tools 11 Demo License now..

All have worked fine...

I downloaded the manager and tried to run it? It hung my machine. When I rebooted, it says it can't authorize any of my iLok plugins... "Many." If it can't be recovered, this will be devastating.

I uninstalled the old client helper and installed the new manager.
 
It seemed to find my login and I was able to activate some software.
 
I haven't transferred the new licenses to my actual iLok yet.
 
I'm scared to stick it in. :-)

I opened a tkt w/tech support and they are working with me. They're going to get on the phone w/me this week and we're going to poke around in the registry. If all else fails, I have a C: drive from like 6 weeks ago. 
 
Their tech support seems responsive and well intentioned so we'll see.

I got my DAW working today, went back to the previous image as described above so I'm using the original SW/pre-PACE upgrade. I will not be "upgrading."
