...has anyone else noticed that since Brandon left and Seth was let go that there doesn't seem to be "any" Cake presence to speak of on the forums??  Of course, I almost never appear upstairs anymore...tho I probably will when the super secret X3 comes out.  And I'm just not as prolific a poster as I used to be as well.  But it just seems to me that we used to have a small group of bakers we could actually...er...talk to.  Your thoughts?

I see that they have been keeping tabs on Bapu lately.

It has been said many times that the old place ain't the same, and I have to agree. Don't know if it's lack of people or a change of philosophy, but I think that the value of the previous levels of interaction has been underestimated.
 

I dunno, I used to have plenty to say about my favourite DAW at one time as well, none of it seems as important anymore.
 
I guess X1 really did change everything just like it promised.
 
Mind you on the upside, if anyone else sees it that way or not, I haven't been struck by the mighty ban-hammer for a good while now.

So sorry to hear that. "The crew" has been dismantled. I saw it coming when the big guy left, you know, the big guy. He's been obscured by time now. The snow of time has blown a drift across our minds.

The "Angels of Cakewalk" may talk to Bapu now, but once in the distant past, The MAN himself called me at my home to help me with a bugfix.  Of course, that was with Cakewalk v1.0 eons ago in a simpler, kinder world...

I can say this...

With the "SILENT" treatment since they left, and since Roland has
taken the reigns....and the lack of bug fixes for X2, over the course
of almost a year, if X3 isn't the be all and end all of DAW's...and, as Big Gay Al would say...
"just super" stable.....
