Voyetra Sequencer Plus Gold - absolute best MS DOS Sequencer.
Loved SPG.  Did a lot a work at that time working with Middle Eastern composers in my home studio recording all the MIDI tracks and perfecting the 'performances' then I would take my rig to a 24 track studio to bounce everything to tape and add acoustic instrumentation (vocals, hand drums, real strings, etc.).

For a short while used Voyetra's Digital Orchestrator Pro before finally switching to Cakewalk.

Add Voyetra's DOP to the list.

ANyway because it's my thread I'm putting it on deathwatch.

Fabricated mac user email much more likely than UFO invasion/Roland takeover.

You're free to do so - after all, the web really needs more assumptions and conjectures. ;)

You know what? I'm curious to see 10, obviously, but, as a matter of fact, in no dire need to see the software itself upgraded. Version 9 was so far ahead of the curve when it was released that it still stands up to the competition almost 4 years later. I does pretty much all I need and does it at least as efficiently as any competitor could.

I guess that all that people see is that it's been so long, and it looks like it's been abandoned. Still, Logic 9 has had 11 updates, some pretty substantial ones like 64-bit support. The latest of those a couple of months ago. You'd think that if they really wanted to abandon it, they could have done it by now and stopped wasting resources updating it...

It's way behind the curve Rain- you're just stuck on Crapple and can't see it.

Turtle Beach 56K System, 10 grand for the whole system, I  paid extra for a second 210 MB Hard disk and extra for a 64M of RAM.  A 2G SCSI HD was about $2500.  And Windows 3.11 was awesome!

Jeez lol. What a system! Scary thing is, if you got that on a credit card and only made the minimum payment each month you would still be paying for it!
