Sony Acid 7.0e came out more than 3 years ago unfortunately. It is still a very good DAW but has problems with lots of my plugins and is 32bit only also.
I had no idea the update was that old. I guess three years can still be recent if you're 106( time doesn't matter as much :). I bought it on a whim because I had a serial number from way back. I figured that the included loops were worth the price to upgrade which was a special at the time.I knew Sonar could read the loops if I decided to use them.
I was pleasantly surprised that it loaded and all worked well on my win7 64 bit machine. I had a folder full of decent 32 bit plug-ins which it reads very well. I seem to work very well in this software. I had a few recorded tracks into it quickly. It is a very uncluttered gui . I wish it had rewire that talked to Sonar 64 bit without the need for anything else though. As it is I brought a project into Sonar quickly with the multi- track export function in Acid. I hope Acid Pro stays around and works on my computer for a long time.
