Well OK, I'll go ahead and add this comment :-)
This statement:
"Its better than iLok IMO, but to each their own...." Is based on another classic fallacy and it is known as the "False Dilemma". It is another invalid statement when used in a context where many options are available and you are attempting to use the statement to proffer your choice as the best.
Using a False Dilemma in a presentation makes one look eager... well, that's about the only thing good you can say.
When people employ ill logic to attempt to be persuasive, people that are actually paying attention to the presentation are likely to seem offended.
It is as if they have just been treated like they weren't paying attention, and some people react by paying even more attention.
I'm glad I live a in a country where we celebrate free speech.
I've watched Obi argue with numerous customers here at his spam roost and I have ignored it because it is none of my business.
Obi choose to argue with me, I choose to argue back.
