I've got Morphoder from Waves doing everything except Sidechaining the Carrier. I'd like to be able to modulate something besides the built-in sounds. I saw a note on another forum talking about the TDM version with a reference to the "key symbol" for sidechaining. I don't have a key symbol on my interface, and when I try to set up the routing, there's nothing in the Output-To list to connect to! So I've been using it configured as a "soft synth" inserted into the FX bin, and using Internal as the Carrier.
I can do sidechaining with Sonitus compressor because it shows up in the list when I put it on a bus. No such luck with Morphoder, and THAT was the main reason I picked it up, was the open-ended experimentation possible with a sidechained carrier.
I do have a workaround where I put Modulator and Carrier on Right and Left of a stereo track, but that's really clumsy and slow. Change the patch the tiniest bit and I have to build the whole thing over again. And if there IS a Sidechain interface exposed, I want to be able to use it properly.
Anyone know if I'm just not setting up right? Is it not supported in Sonar? Any advice much appreciated.

NOTES: Windows 7, Sonar X2a, 8GB Ram, Morphoder Native 9.2.0.

I'm sure it needs VST3 to SC with Waves. X2 doesn't support it.

Dang dang dang, I was afraid of that. **Almost** ready to jump ship and migrate to Pro Tools.
