I picked it up about 6 months ago for about that much. It is really cool for the price. On reflection though it really doesn't do anything that I can't do in Sonar from my observation and it doesn't support VSTi instruments. The EQ sounds really good but I have the UAD Harrison. 
 A cool program for a nice price that I could recommend to someone looking for a DAW for recording and mixing live audio. For someone that already has a DAW I don't think so though

I popped for it at $49....I used the $89 I saved from not buying
the Maag EQ since Eddie TX told me about the freebie...so I still come out $40 ahead.

I have it installed but haven't done anything with it...but it seems very solid on Win 8...

I guess my thought process is... if they update it, give it VSTi and MIDI capability,
and make it 64 bit...then it's an investment in the future...and I have an upgrade
path...

If not, then at least it's not a total waste...as I can still use it...

Ok,

Pulled in some raw Wave files, no processing or anything...flat across the board....

and the mix sounded cleaner and wider to me....maybe I'm nutz...but that's what I hear...

So, based on that, I can see why it would be easier and faster to get a better mix in here
then in other DAW's....

Maybe the "channels" and "summing" of the Harrison console were very well modeled and translated well here, because there most certainly is a "difference" to my ears...

Still waiting to hear from Mike on his Test Project...

I see that Don't Crack http://store.dontcrack.com/ working with Harrison has Mixbus 2.3 on special for $39 bucks. Full price is $219...looks like a good deal!
