I want to export my song to a CD.  Somehow, the default bitrate changed from 16 to 32, and MC 6's CD burner doesn't like that.  I followed the Help file's instructions for changing the bitrate through Importing into a new project, but I lose all my mixing and effects and the groove clip drum line runs at half speed.  I'm really hoping there's a easy way to resolve this.  Thanks, Dave

In the export window you should be able to select the export bit rate and sample rate

16/44.1khz is the CD standard. Be sure those are the settings you choose.

also... tell us about the system you have..... operating system and most importantly, the sound card you use.

Hi, thanks for helping me out.  First the good news.  Things are working.  The bad news, I'm not sure why.  I went back to my "mixed" folder and deleted my first attempts.  Then I exported again - making sure it was selected as CD quality in the dialog box (something I'm pretty sure I'd done before) and checked the box to add it to the CD burn list.  The "new" thing I did was add each new song by opening it in MC 6, exporting and adding to the CD list.  Before I used the Add Track button from the burner and grabbed a song from the Mixed folder after previously exporting it there.  The video says I can do it this way, but who knows.

BTW, I'm using a new HP Pavillion with Win 7, the stock sound card (Realtek Hi Def Audio) routed through the Duo Capture 2.  I've had no trouble in recording or playback in MC 6 as I built up the tracks.  Again, thanks for your help.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that my "fix" stays fixed.  (BTW I had a similar on again, off again problem getting my midi keyboard to talk to MC 6.  It worked, then didn't, then started working again.  This program is driving me crazy!)  Dave

MC6 should be using your Duo Capture exclusively. It is your sound card/interface.
Make sure it is selected as the Record/Playback Timing Master.
Check that all I/O is going through the Duo Capture.
As for the keyboard, is it connected via USB?
Make sure you don't have power management set to turn off the USB ports on your computer.
This can cause a ton of grief.
