Can anyone recommend a good quality mic stand attachment for holding two mics on the same stand? I'm looking for something that's durable, easy to use on a boom and allows me to position one mic higher than the other for XY miking. I've seen a few online but none that make clear whether or not it's possible to adjust the individual heights.

Hoping to spend less than $50 if possible.

I have this and it's not so good b/c the Mics touch each other when they approach the 110 spread. Better than nothing though.

I bought 2 of those Onstage ones, to hold me till I get a better pair that are set up for stereo methods. The adjustability of batsbrew's is very handy! Thanks for posting.

gswitz, I was gonna post the same, I got one for Christmas but it's difficult to use for me. Mics are too heavy, the sides aren't even close to symmetrical and only one side lets me set my own angle. Eh, it was $4.

That's a fair price for them. I think I paid $5+ apiece and still thought they were cheaply made.
This OnStage seems better, but I suspect OnStage of being the "low rent" models. (tho not as cheap as the MF line)
It holds 6 mics! and it has notches/pins for the angles

There's this K&M (better)

This Rode is nice and has the angles marked on it. (probably a bargain and good quality)

then you could spend more (!) for the Grace. These seem like the "Atlas SB36w" of stereo mic bars!

It's a whole world of options. Anyone with experience with any of these want to chime in on quality?

I use the K&M adjustable bar for cardioid patterns (the sliding one, not the bending arm one).  It has a 3/8" euro thread instead of the 5/8" US standard, so you would have to use the thread adapters that usually come with mic clips.  If you need extra spacing to overlap the mics, you can always use a combination of thread adapters like a 3/8 female to 5/8 male adapter inside a 5/8 female to 3/8 male adapter.  That will give you the appropriate height and only costs a couple bucks.

Thanks, that Rode one looks nice and I can see from the image that it is indeed possible to raise the height of the microphone relative to the other.
