Really sad news. She was in London for a recording session and found dead in her hotel room. No other info.

Saw that this morning. Don't know much about her but she had a cool voice.
 
Shockingly young so something screwy must have happened but I'm guessing there won't be any deets for a day or so.
 
Apparently my mom's ex's daughter's husband just keeled over over the holidays from what they think was a heart issue (autopsy forthcoming). He wasn't much older than her (or me) and apparently didn't drink or smoke or do anything crummy to his body. He's got a small gaggle of daughters and of course his wife whom are not taking it well. Nasty stuff.
 
Anyhoo... RIP Zombie gurl. You were cool.
 
 

The Cranberries cancelled a tour late last year due to her ongoing health issues (her back, is my understanding). I sure hope this isn't another Prince.

She was in the middle of a recording session* too. That would tick me off to no end in the afterlife.
 
*Clarification: She didn't drop in the studio (it was her hotel supposedly). Just saying she was tracking some new material.
