Hey, i'm running Windows Vista ult. 64 bit with Sonar 8.0, 4gb ram, AMD Athlon X2 (2.60), Geforce 7800GT. I can record and playback just fine at 24 bit, 96khz with my EDIROL FA-101, but when it comes to using the TTS-1 to make midi tracks at 96khz, they come out distorted and at a higher pitch. I can switch down to 24 bit, 48khz and everything sounds fine. It says that the TTS-1 works at 44.1 48 and 96. So what have i done wrong, or am i lacking a critical part of my equipment to make it work properly? This seems to be a great source of infomation, so I thought that I'd ask! Thanks a lot!

You really don't need to record at 24/96 khz.... so just switch back to 24/48khz you'll get fine results.

TTS is a good synth, but there are much better synths that you will discover. with TTS, and most other synths and VST's...... even if you could record at 96khz... I doubt that you could hear the difference between 48 and 96..... even on top quality monitors.

I would like to know if how to fix it either way.
Since my midi isn't working at 96 kHz, I don't have a way of testing if I can hear it or if I cannot. Since I don't know how to play drums, I really can't incorperate live drums into my recordings. I've seen this argument come up a couple of times while searching for a fix to my problem. I bet you are right, and I wont be able to hear a difference; but I'd still like a shot at it. I'm stubborn like that. Thanks!

TTS-1 is not designed to work at anything higher than 48k, so there's not a way to fix it.

Hi all - I a newb here but managed to find the solution to this problem on another thread. It has bugged the life out of me too. I like to use TTS-1 as a 'get up and running' synth for ideas.
